Greetings,

AEMS is duPont Manual’s academic enrichment program that focuses on ensuring that all students are college/career ready by graduation.

Did you know that your achievement scores will influence your post-secondary educational opportunities? It’s true, your GPA and ACT/SAT scores are the biggest determiners of college admission.  Your score is compared to a benchmark score which determines your college readiness--your ability to take credit-bearing college courses without the need for supplemental or developmental courses which result in no college credit.

If you know your scores from your last standardized test you can determine if you meet the benchmarks using the following grid:

How can we work together to improve your academic outlook?  We would like you to participate in AEMS.  Together we will determine which academic standards, in reading and mathematics, in which you need extra help.

To determine where you are mathematically, we would like you to complete the following baseline assessment.  Once you complete the assessment, your academic coach will contact you to determine what strategies you'd like to use to help you master the high school mathematics curriculum.

To take a survey of your math ability, click on the following statement:  I want to be college ready!

Thank you!
